Ripley Pre-school
Ripley Pre-school is a small Early Years setting based in the grounds of the former Ripley Primary School. We are a company limited by guarantee with charitable status. We are a friendly setting who believe that children can develop to their full potential through play in a safe and happy environment.
We are small independent setting based in a lovely rural Surrey village, with a very experienced and committed staff who love looking after the children in their care. Our setting was purpose built 10 years ago so is modern and airy with a large outdoor space. The preschool is rated Good by Ofsted.
Meet the Director - Clare Grimes
I manage the business which has charitable status, and am one of the three Directors. I have worked here for more than 16 years and managed the setting for 8 years. I live in the village and am active in the community.
I love my job and the children in my care bring a smile to my face everyday. Seeing how our children develop and blossom during their one or two years with us is the most satisfying part of running this business, as well as supporting families who sometimes have complex needs or just the normal worries of bringing up children.

Covid-19 Response
We reopened after Easter for the children of key workers and vulnerable children and then to any others whose parents were happy for them to attend. We had to write new policies and procedures in line with government guidance and risk assess the setting.
