Throughout 2020, the Parish Council has been a huge help to the village community; funding the Corona Virus Support Network, and supporting businesses within the village with a grant to set up the Ripley Business Association. This is alongside all of the usual financial support they provided to the community over the last year. As a result, the Parish Council funds have been left depleted, and sadly the Ripley Christmas Lights Fund is now seriously low.
The usual fundraising efforts, which include the Ripley Bonfire and Christmas Fair, haven't been able to go ahead, two events which are usually huge fundraisers for the lights. To support our community, the Ripley Business Association Committee has decided to try and raise at least this amount to get the lights on this year!
